I've stated a number of times that corruption is a rot that corrodes the trust that citizens have in democratic institutions. Nothing exemplifies that more that the drip, drip, drip of news that has outlined the corrupt practices of Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State and The Clinton Foundation as the conduit through which money flowed to enrich Bill and Hillary Clinton. Now FoxNews reports that the FBI is actively investigating The Clinton Foundation:

The FBI's investigation into the Clinton Foundation that has been going on for more than a year has now taken a "very high priority," separate sources with intimate knowledge of the probe tell Fox News.

FBI agents have interviewed and re-interviewed multiple people on the foundation case, which is looking into possible pay for play interaction between then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and the Clinton Foundation. The FBI's White Collar Crime Division is handling the investigation.

Even before the WikiLeaks dumps of alleged emails linked to the Clinton campaign, FBI agents had collected a great deal of evidence, law enforcement sources tell Fox News.

"There is an avalanche of new information coming in every day," one source told Fox News, who added some of the new information is coming from the WikiLeaks documents and new emails.

FBI agents are "actively and aggressively pursuing this case," and will be going back and interviewing the same people again, some for the third time, sources said.

Agents are also going through what Clinton and top aides have said in previous interviews and the FBI 302, documents agents use to report interviews they conduct, to make sure notes line up, according to sources.

These reports have been confirmed with addition information uncovered by investigative reporters for The Wall Street Journal.

What's really interesting is that the other mainstream media outlets have gone dark on the story. No follow-up or even reporting from The NYT, The LAT, ABC, NBC, CNN, MSNBC, CBS, The WaPo, The Boston Globe ... and on and on. This is journalistic malpractice, but what else is new?

The pro-Clinton media (meaning almost all of it) realizes that her corrupt practices are corrosive—only not in the way I mentioned above. Hillary's corruption is also corrosive to her image, her trustworthiness and her campaign. Her trained hamsters in the media refuse—outright refuse—to add to Clinton's many problems, so they spike a very big news story in an blatant effort to help her. Trump tells the truth when he states that the election is rigged. The big question is whether media bias will be enough to get Clinton elected. I'm beginning to wonder.
